Fofana a deschis norocos scorul pentru gazde, în minutul 30. Mingea șutată slab s-a lovit de Morais în a deviat exact la colțul barei. Raul Rusescu a fost titular deşi nu mai jucase vreun meci oficial de mai bine de un an. La pauză, Nicolae Dică a făcut, ca de obicei, două schimbări. Rusescu i-a lăsat locul lui Harlem Gnohere, iar Florin Tănase l-a înlocuit pe Dennis Man.

La patru minute de la reluare, Olimpiu Moruţan restabileşte egalitatea, prin cel de-al treilea său gol în "roş-albastru", pentru ca Harlem Gnohere să ducă scorul la 2-1, în minutul 63. Scorul final a fost stabilit de Florinel Coman, în minutul 83.

În urma acestui succes, Steaua acumulează 7 puncte şi revine pe locul ocupat la finalul sezonului trecut.
